Shall I explain why Elflaeda's had a make-over?

I've been going grey since I was nine and totally grey since 28, so any colour is a dye (original colour was very, very dark brown - almost black) which is fading fast and getting on my nerves, so Miss Barbosa (Elflaeda) is back to grey before I am. I've also taken her out of the graveyard and put her on a starship, where she is waiting to give guided tours. She's also acquired a taste for gaudy jewellery; why I don't know, I can't stand jewellery, never wear it and don't own any. I couldn't change the glasses though, they only had one pair of clear ones, in all my 39 years of wearing the things, I don't think I've ever had black frames. Queen ... I had a puzzled querie about the change within minutes of doing it, so I thought I would let you all know why.

10. My avatar really should be wearing glasses, as I normally have them on when I'm sat here at the computer, however I wear contact lenses when I go out, so if you met me in real life you wouldn't see them, so that's why my avatar does not have them on.
