why do women always leave stuff behind after a one-night stand?

Jewellery, cigarettes, lipstick, etc. Is this a conscious decision? Unconsciously trying to create an illusion that it'll be more than this once? Or looking for an excuse for a call? Happens nearly all the time.

They probably do it so they will get at least a call from you later and if they don't get a call then they know it was just a one night stand.. But I wouldn't know I don't do that.

it depends everyone is differnt! maybe some chicks are just forgetfull maybe some want to get you into trouble incase you had a girlfriend! some just want you to remember so you'll call them! some just don't care! In a panic it's hard to remember your earrings.

they're marking their territory! the better question is why you have so many one night stands! LOL
They are leaving something to tip off the woman in your life so she can catch you cheating. Or maybe one of them left a disease behind.

And of coarse it is a good reason to drop back by saying oh I left my lipstick. Sometimes women will keep leaving stuff behind and before you know it she has moved in!!!

A lot of reasons... they want a return call, they were too waste and forgot. Maybe they were in a hurry to get home to BF's and forgot or they want your partner to find them.

Either they are just forgetful, or possibly because they are just dumb and ditzy and that's the reason for you only having a one night stand with them. :-o
We want you to call or a reason to call you. You should worry if we don't leave anything behind. You should really worry if you wake up and have stuff missing.
I personally dont have one night stands, but if you are, hope you are being more care full about protection!! Its too scary these days!!! Maybe you want to leave those panties behind??? Scratch and sniff kind of thing???
I've found that most girls leave their panties at my house. And usually they come back for a repeat preformance.

Thats the conversation we want to commence by leaving things at guys apartments. And it works every time except for two back firings. 1) they find it BEFORE we leave and hand it to us...I hate that!! 2) They put it in a envelope and tape it outside their door...that happeend to my best friend. I do that all the time and it works...98 pecent of the time.
You're probably right about the call back OR Women have a nesting instinct and if you've dated the same woman more than once has she left personal items behind the second time too? OR You were so BAD in the bedroom the gals were in a major rush to get the heck out of there --- :) Only kidding!
