Does any body know what RBS stands for on a piece of jewellery?
The item is an amethyest pendant dug up in my garden about 25 years ago and is 9ct gold with a birmingham hallmark post 1824.

- Don't know what it stands for but maybe you could take it to your local museum, they could identify what sort of era they are from. Like they do on that programme on antiques roadshow!! Or take it to a jewellers and ask don't know if they will be as helpful though.
