What does "CC" stand for on a necklace?

A friend of mine has a necklace with two C's on it facing opposite directions. She won't tell me what it means (for whatever reason) and I'm just curious! I tried searching but can only find pictures labeled as "CC necklace" since I don't know what else to search! anybody know what the CC stands for?
