- get a tie hanger and use the little pegs..that is what I do...
- Something I've seen and liked: a tree that you can hang your jewelry on and spread out, too. It is decorative and serves a purpose. My faves are the ones that sit on your dresser or whatever. You hang the jewelry from the branches. Surely you can buy one for the wall too. Improvise with what you find on ebay with the tree thing.
- okay... this is uhmazing! my mom has one... just take an old fork and bend the prongs forward at 90 degree angles so it looks sort or like a bird foot. then mount it upsidedown on your wall, and you have a handy place to hang your necklaces! it's super cute and doesn't cost you anything! hope i helped ;0)
- metal coat hooks that u screw into ur walls, those look good with necklaces hanging on them, just try get small ones. . .B and Q for like 10-20p each
- for a science project, me and my friend made one. all you have to do is this: 1. Find a lond pole-ish kind of wood, which is about a foot tall. 2. Nail in some hooks here and there, (you would want 14) 3. Glue-gun the pole to a little box (For studs or earrings?) 5. To get a good grade, me and my friend added a pretty little head and made clothes for it. you don't have to do that If you're not happy with this, you can get holders for 10$ at Ardene's, Claire's, icings or at an accessory store.
- I have two dress necklace holders its like a manacan of a lady wearing a fancy dress on my dresser that come in quite handy but they can be quite pricey and hard to find. Another thing that you could try is going to ikea they have these large nail type things that you hammer into your wall and they only cost like $5 for 6 or 8 of them. You could also put some gems from a craft store on them and make them abit hand made. You could also use picture hanging hooks and nail those into your wall or you could use normal nails. Another great idea is that you take a 2 by 4 wood plank and paint and then hammer some nails into it. Well i hope this helps you
- It sounds like you want a crafting project to make something unique, but inexpensive. I have an idea for a fabric and ribbon project for you that would allow you to hang your jewlery on the wall. You will need a peice of fabric that is out of a material that has some weight to it like velvet. You will want a peice of fabric that is wide enough to accomodate all your necklaces hanging side by side, and long enough to accomodate the length of your longest necklace. Using craft glue, glue your fabric to a peice of cardboard being sure to wrap the raw edges of fabric tightly around the edges of cardboard and secure with lots of glue. Once that has dried, take pretty ribbons in your choice of colors, designs, and widths and cut several in 8-10" lengths. Using fabric glue, glue the center of the ribbon down on the board, along the top edge. You will loop your closed necklaces through these ribbons and tie the ribbon in a bow and your necklace will hang tangle free against the velvet backing. You can hang your necklaces individually across the top of the board or you can group two or three necklaces together to save space. Use the same method, of gluing center sections of ribbon to the board, to attach your rings and bracelets. You may want to use the bottom of the board or the side section for these items. To attach your board to the wall, use a pretty peice of left over ribbon and glue it with craft glue to the back of the board, attaching one end on the left and one end on the right of the board. You will use this ribbon to hang the board on the wall with tack. An alternate suggestion, if you would like to be able to take your jewlery with you, would be to leave out the cardboard backing. Instead, hem the raw edges of the velvet using a sewing machine or fabric glue. Then you can take the holder off the wall, roll it up and secure it with ribbon and take it with you. You can also embelish your jewlery board with anything that suits your style. Your imagination can create endless combinations. You need not go anywhere but Wal-Mart to find what you are looking for which will keep your cost under $20 since they have ribbon spools under $1. Happy crafting!
