What does the R stand for in 14kt r gold?

I saw it on a necklace and i was curious, it also said Italy on it if that helps at all. Oh yea, and if ive posted this in the wrong category please suggest the correct one. Thank you for your time.

1. I suspect it means Rose or Red Gold, so there's enough copper alloy to give it a reddish appearance.
2. If i'm not mistaken, it stands for Rose Gold. I don't think there even is red gold

R; stands Rose Gold; some company wrtie: 18KP ( pingo gold ). it is the same as 18KR 18KW: 18K white gold; 18KY; 18K yellow gold; i m in china with 18 years exporting business experiences, two years in diamond jewlery business experiences. i would like to share it with you if you need any products from china.
