how to make a jewellery holder?
Ive got loads of jewellery and have got nowhere to put it. I like them like bodies that you can hang them on but if anyone knows how to make them or something similar please tell me! Best answer gets 5 star rating!

- Start with a padded clothes hanger. Make a dolls head from cloth and sew it to the top of the hanger, Make the dress, including shoulders and large pockets on the skirt for odds and ends. Stuff the dress to look like a body and attach it to the underside of the hanger. hang necklaces around the neck, earings, rings and bracelets in the pockets. This pattern can be adapted to make a holder for undies and tights etc instead of having to rummage in the drawers for them. hope this helps.
- The ones I make for all my young friends are a piece of cork board, sometimes cut square and sometimes in a shape like a heart or something. cover this with a really pretty piece of lace and pin a ribbon around the sides. Put a hanger on it so you can hang it on the wall. Use corsage pins to hold up your necklaces and earrings. Just stab them in and hang the jewelry on it. My granddaughter is now making these for all her friends.
- Why not try making a plaster of paris hand to hang your jewellery on. All you need is some plaster of paris, a glove (surgical ones work best but small marigolds work too) and paint /embellishments to decorate.
